Abelia ‘Edward Goucher’

abelia grandiflora edward goucher

Abelia grandiflora 'Edward Goucher' is a rare pink-flowered form of the Glossy Abelia which ordinarily produces white flowers. Tubular flowers which measure approximately 2.5 cm are produced from Summer to Autumn.

'Edward Goucher' is very easy to grow and will endure frosts and considerable drought once established. Grow in a sunny or semi-shaded position where this plant can reach its mature height and width of 1.75 metres.

Abelia grandiflora 'Edward Goucher' will develop a somewhat arching habit but can be safely pruned almost back to the ground if it requires re-shaping. For best results, apply an all-purpose fertiliser every few months.

Please note: Due to quarantine laws, plants cannot be supplied to customers in the states of Western Australia or Tasmania or outside Australia.
